Was this before the snow storm?

This was April 1st, were having our second spring snow storm since then here in Toronto lol (unless you live around here and already know)

Hahaha, I was there for the big storm Sunday night. I sort of live there lately, last month I was there for over half the month. I live in Montreal but am working on moving to Toronto which.... fingers crossed I may have the job to do it by the end of the week.

Also which ticket did you get for 100$? That’s so low.

I parked in front of a hydrant at school like the BMW driver I am lol, first time, hopefully the last too. My mom translates at courts and she said they’re purposefully lowering fines because the higher court is telling them not too under any circumstances, which is unreasonable.
Good luck on the job too, I can’t guarantee you’ll like it here but depending on the neighborhood it can be quite good, I’ve only lived here and in Ottawa for a few years when I was born so idk.

I’m not afraid to admit that I sort of like the second generation Cavalier Z24.
My aunt had one of these, but a 3-speed automatic (boo).

That orange totally works on that Cavalier. Great choice by the owner.

I agree, totally caught my eye and to my surprise I didn’t regret looking at it like I thought I would lol.

That’s not a bad price for a parking spot haha 25$ is cheaper than a day at some of the downtown lots hahahahahaha. That’s ridiculous though but something I’m looking forward to. I’ve never gotten a ticket while driving, I don’t know how as I’m kind of a fast driver and have the unofficial record amongst friends for Montreal to Toronto (6 hour drive completed in just under 4 hours, I normally complete it in 5 or less). Out here, you have zero chance in court. I lost a stunt driving ticket that I got on my bicycle (doing over 30kph over the limit on my road bike and was picked out of the group).
Thanks! Really really hoping it works out but I think I will enjoy it out there. It’s a big city, not as cultural but lots of things to do and more money to be made. Finding an apartment is going to be a pain (looking in West Queen West/Liberty Village area), though i’ll be buying a condo by summer’s end.
Which school are you going to?

Wait a minute, you got a stunt driving ticket for doing 30km/h over the limit on a pedal bike !? *slow clap
But I think you’ll like Toronto if you are open-minded about it. It’s not at all like Montreal but has a massive range of things to do and places to enjoy. I’ve lived here since I started school in 2003 and love it now. And that’s coming from someone who grew up in Muskoka. Plus Opponauts from here are coming out of the woodwork everyday. Good luck with the new job prospect, it’s tough out there (finally just landed a job after 6 months of hard searching).

Hahaha thank you, I got clocked doing 70 something in a 30 zone. Slap on a another speeding ticket on the bike and voila a 1700$ payment to the government of Montreal and Quebec.
WAIT, are you the one that just started the marketing (product management) position at Genesis? haha I’ve been trying to break into the auto game my self (I’m a product management/project management/client success and marketing specialist).
CONGRATS!!!!! That’s rather amazing and such a fantastic opportunity!
It is hard out there but so many more jobs! haha. I agree, Toronto is a very open minded place and I love that about it.

Well if I moved up a few feet it would’ve been free but I can’t complain, it was my fault and I’m thankful they reduced it.
Tbh I laughed out loud when I read you got a ticket on a bike lol, didn’t even think it was possible haha, and I’ve gotten let off once by a cop who pulled me over over “speeding on an on ramp” smh.
I got the ticket last year in grade 12 went I went to humberside, a school in the high park/bloor St w area, which is great, so I can’t really help you with the place you’re looking for.

Yeah I am. And thanks. I’m definitely looking forward to it. If you want into Auto (at a head office/national level) then you are coming to the right place. Let me know when you get here and I’ll see what I can do about hooking you up with the right people. It’s a small industry and after doing marketing for 4 years at MB and my job search I know people at a lot of the OEMs.

Congrats again! Seriously that’s going to be quite the project and thanks so much for the offer! It’s one of the big reasons I was drawn to Toronto when I moved back to Canada in 2011 (I only ended up out here because of an ex girlfriend).
That would be great if you could, here’s a burner I created four one six - 639-1575. I’ll pass on a real number after I hear from you. To confirm, I’ve posted a comment on another one of your posts with a secret phrase.

Got your messages but I have no idea what to do with this “burner” number... do I text it or something? LOL. I’m into cars, not espionage!

Just shoot me a text at that number hahaha. I posted a comment on another post of yours (in your notifications), you can send that just to confirm it’s you haha
